Bit Rate:

We encode our MP3 files using variable bit rates for maximum audio quality and smaller file sizes. Using a variable bit rate allows us to allocate a higher bit rate to the more complex sections of music files while using a smaller bit rate for the less complex sections. The average of these rates is then calculated to produce an average bit rate for the entire file that represents the overall sound quality.

File Size:

A typical 3-minute song takes up approximately 5MB of storage space.

Digital Booklet:

Where a booklet is included, it is either reproduced from the master layout supplied to the publisher, or in rare cases, scanned from an original booklet. It is presented in Adobe PDF format, which is viewable with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader available from adobe.com. (This link opens in a new window)

MP3 vs other formats:

Although there are other formats available which produce higher quality, we feel that MP3 with this bit rate offers the best balance between quality and file size.

DRM:

Digital Rights Management or DRM refers to software designed to limit how you copy or play files. All our tracks are free of DRM and can therefore be used as you wish.

We do ask however, that you respect the rights of the artist and do not share your music with others.

Thank you
