EDDIE BAIRD:- Songwriter/Sinqer/Guitarist with long established English acoustic group, Amazing Blondel, who first became popular in the 1970’s touring with such bands as Free, Fairport Convention, Traffic, Steeleye Span, Cat Stevens and many more.

Amazing Blondel reformed in 1997 to record an album 'Restoration' and toured regularly in the UK and Europe until 2004.

In early 2009, Eddie once again worked with John 'Rabbit' Bundrick, providing lyrics and vocals on several new Bundrick-penned tracks, which are now available in our shop.

Later in 2009 it was announced that Terry Wincott and Eddie Baird would be recording an album of new material for a Blondel album to be released in 2010.

He is currently working on a new collaboration with Rabbit Bundrick, Darryl Ebbatson and Les Wilson as well as co-producing the new album by Chris Cooper.

Eddie is now pursuing a solo recording career. Ed's second solo album 'Also' was released in 1998 on CD and his CD 'Abbey Cottage' was released in 2003.
A compilation CD called simply 'Compilation' featuring 16 tracks including 4 new songs was released in January 2004.
A new CD, a collaboration with Darryl Ebbatson called 'Bare Facts' was released in 2008 and a new CD called 'Exposed' - a reworking of old songs with some new ones was released on Talking Elephant Records in Late 2009.
His albums 'Also.....', 'Abbey Cottage' and 'Compilation' as well as the 'Sawmills Sessions' are available to purchase as downloads in our shop.
